Scheduled Task Management

Know what your shop does in the background

Shopware runs dozens of scheduled tasks: sitemaps, product exports, cache invalidation, cleanups and the tasks of your extensions. When the worker stops or a task keeps failing, you usually find out when something in the shop is already wrong. Scheduled Task Management shows every task, when it ran, whether it worked and why not, and warns you in time.

All tasks at a glance

• List and timeline view with interval, last and next execution and status.
• Worker health: see whether a worker is processing messages, how many messages are waiting per queue, and which tasks are overdue or failed.
• Run, queue, activate or deactivate a task in one click, or several tasks at once.
• Change the interval of a task, and reset it to the default.

Logs that explain failures

• One entry per run with the result, the runtime and whether the worker or a user started it.
• The real error: exception, file and line, stack trace and the log messages of the run, also when Shopware catches the error and only writes it to a log file.
• CSV export of a task's log for your developer or hosting partner.
• Cleaned up automatically after 30 days, or the number of days you choose.

Alerts

• When a task fails several times in a row (3 by default).
• When a task hasn't run for longer than twice its interval, for example because the scheduler stopped.
• As administration notification and Flow Builder trigger, so you can also send an e-mail or call a webhook.

Good to know

• Works with the message queues Shopware supports. Waiting messages are counted for the database, Redis and AMQP (RabbitMQ) transports.
• Permissions per administration role: view tasks and logs, or also run and change them.
• Administration in English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Danish.
